Yokohama Air Cabin is a cable car-style transportation system that allows visitors to enjoy stunning views of the city from above. The Air Cabin operates on a 2.6 kilometer route between the Shinko Pier and Yamashita Park, taking approximately 12 minutes to complete one round trip.

The Air Cabin system consists of 68 individual cabins that are designed to look like futuristic capsules. Each capsule can hold up to ten passengers and is equipped with large windows that provide panoramic views of the city below. The cabins are suspended from a cable that runs above the city, providing passengers with a smooth and quiet ride.

One of the main draws of the Air Cabin is the stunning views it offers of Yokohama’s skyline and the port area. As passengers soar high above the city, they can take in breathtaking views of landmarks such as the Yokohama Bay Bridge and the iconic Ferris wheel at Cosmo World amusement park. The Air Cabin is particularly popular at night when the city lights up, providing a spectacular view of the illuminated skyline.

The Air Cabin is also an eco-friendly transportation option, using electricity to power its cable system. It is a sustainable alternative to traditional transportation methods such as cars and buses, helping to reduce emissions and promote environmentally friendly travel.
